AUBS Car Wash Fundraiser: A Huge Success!

The Algoma University Business Society (AUBS) hosted its Car Wash Fundraiser, and we are thrilled to share that it was a huge success. So many cars rolled through for a sparkling wash, and it was all made possible thanks to the incredible support from our community

What started as a simple idea to raise funds quickly turned into a memorable day of teamwork, community spirit, and fun. We were able to wash dozens of cars, connect with members of the Sault Ste. Marie community, and raise an impressive amount of funds to support future AUBS projects and initiatives.

To our Volunteer: Every great event has a driving force behind the scenes, and for us, that was our elite volunteer, Tirth Sidhpura (@tirth_sidhpura). Tirth was present throughout the entire event, ensuring that cars were being washed and everything ran smoothly. His dedication and energy made a big difference.

To the Community: Of course, none of this would have been possible without you, the community members, students, and friends who bought tickets, showed up, and cheered us on Thank you for trusting us with your vehicles, supporting our cause, and spreading the word. Your encouragement fuels our mission to keep growing as leaders and change-makers.

This car wash was more than just a fundraiser, it was a reminder of what we can accomplish when we come together as a team with a shared vision. The funds raised will go directly to student leadership development and helping AUBS achieve our mission of connecting students to exclusive business opportunities.
